MetroTwit for Windows 8 tablets takes a little bit of a different approach to its layout with a slimmer icon-only menu down the left side and multiple columns with Timeline, Mentions and other Twitter account information following off the right side of the screen when viewing a Windows tablet in portrait orientation.

Internet access is required to download certain parts of the software to complete the setup correctly. The software checks what components are needed and then goes ahead with the installation.
